hurricane preparation

Hi Fellow Woodlake Neighbors,
It’s hard to believe that we’re coming up on that time of year when many are planning to return north for the summer or for summer vacations. It’s been a great winter here and I hope that everyone has had a healthy and enjoyable season in sunny SW Florida! With June 1st being the official first day of the 2022 hurricane season, I thought it fitting that I advise you that the Bonita Bay Community Association has once again designated me as the as the "Hurricane Captain" for Woodlake. My role is to arouse consciousness within our neighborhood of the need to be prepared in the event a major storm affects us. The “weather experts” are forecasting a record number of hurricanes this season (let’s hope that they’re wrong). Read more.
